|Vision Technologies Awarded $5.3M Contract with US Army Corps of Engineers|

Vision Technologies, a leading IT Services company, today announced the winning a $5.3M contract to install copper and fiber optic telecommunication cabling, for the US Army Corps of Engineers, in support of the BRAC build out at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Vision’s work under this contract will consist of installing over 4 million feet of copper and fiber optic telecommunication cabling, from the existing ceiling-mounted zone panels through the systems furniture to desktop. This cabling will be installed in 8 new buildings being constructed in support of the BRAC initiative and continues the work that Vision Technologies performed in Phase 1 during the construction phase of these buildings.
The contract will enable Vision Technologies to employ an additional 60 technicians specializing in installation and support. The move to Aberdeen from Ft. Monmouth, will allow the opening of about 8,200 jobs on post and up to 10,000 additional contracted and off post positions.
