• PURPOSE

 Is an active technical member of Vision’s capture management team, leading and/or participating in pre-sales activities as required to generate business for The Company. Provide sales support for account managers in new, qualified business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To learn what is expected, execute with integrity, and achieve client satisfaction.
• Interface with management and sales team to develop a winning strategy on proposals and quotations.
• Interface with distributors and manufacturers to negotiate competitive pricing and strategic advantages with our supply chain.
• Design and estimate large-scale complex installations.
• Develop Labor & Material estimates (BOL/BOM) and a detailed Statements of Work (SOW).
• Plan and manage time and schedule effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5-7 years of experience specific to the job responsibilities.
• Preferred certifications are: Cisco Advanced WLAN Design Specialist; Cisco Certified Design Associate; Cisco Certified Network Associate; Certified Wireless Network Associate.
• Knowledge of LAN & WAN networking products, topologies, and protocols.
• Candidate must be willing to travel nationally 10% of the time.
• Knowledge of CATV, CCTV, Wireless, Security and AV products a plus.
• Experience with rollout projects a plus.
• Knowledge of universal wiring systems a plus.
• Well versed in Word, Excel, MS Project.
