ABOUT VISION

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of new National Accounts for Vision Technologies’ Global Services Division. The sole function of the selected candidate will be to work with the management team in identifying targeted enterprise and national integrator accounts, creating a strategy to initiate interest in Vision’s services and securing their commitment for ongoing business opportunities. The targeted accounts must be consistent with the firm's focus on information technology (IT) services, network infrastructure (NI) and the convergence of security and A/V technologies.

The preferred individual will have the past experience and ability to work with Vision's executive management team in the development and execution of a strategic and tactical sales management plan.  This plan will include a strategy to penetrate national opportunities with systems integrators, national commercial businesses, and some federal programs. The focus is to develop and to manage the customer relationship for our network infrastructure, technical services and national deployments.

 

PROFILE

  • A “hunter" who has documented past experience in securing “new” national business relationships
  • Proven past performance in achieving sales in excess of $3 million per year
  • In-depth understanding of Sales & Contract Relationship Management strategies
  • Functional/Industry Knowledge for Information Technology Services
  • Established rolodex that includes national integrators and fortune 1,000 clients
  • Self-managed and Self-starting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer user skills, particularly with MS Office
  • Ability to work in a Team setting

 

EDUCATION/BACKGROUND 

  • Industry recognized Certifications, and or Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years professional work experience in system integration, enterprise wired and wireless LAN/WAN, network and system administration, data center design and facilities management, and structured cabling design and implementation. We are a leader in the design, build, implementation, and security of data, voice and video communication networks.
