Under contract to the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (DHS CBP), Vision provides the comprehensive support necessary to assist in the on-going development of a redundant, scalable, and extensible component-based network architecture blueprint. Vision’s broad-base assistance includes support of the DHS CBP OneNet network, security operations, network transport engineering, enterprise WAN, and network and application design, to name a few. Specifically, Vision experts:

• Ensure the blueprint is updated, enhanced, and maintained current at all times
• Establish and maintaining effective and team-oriented working relationships with all vendors
• Leverage best value/business practices and innovative technology solutions

The assigned Vision Network and Architecture Engineer team ensures compliance to agency, department and Federal mandates for enterprise architecture. Additionally, the team supports the development of executive infrastructure briefings and reports including the development of an ENTS NAE Performance Reference Model Worksheet to map out ENTS strategic goals, objectives, and measurement categories including initial, baseline, and predicted outcomes. In March of 2010, the Vision team was recognized for its excellence in supporting CBP in enterprise network architecture and ability to succeed in multiple complex initiatives.
