Under an ongoing contact to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Vision Technologies (Vision) provides maintenance services for the Department’s IBM AS/400 (System i) servers located in nearly 2,500 FSA Field Service Centers nationwide.

Vision’s full-time help-desk technicians provide 24/7 phone support on a number of service contracts through the Vision National Help Desk, a web-based maintenance call-entry system with a timely and efficient cascading service response methodology. The Vision team also includes full-time depot repair technicians who oversee repair and refurbishment efforts, maintain parts stock levels commensurate with anticipated service calls, and coordinate shipping/receiving efforts associated with these tasks.

The Vision team of direct employees and consultants are distributed throughout the 50 United States and outlying areas. When workload demands peak, Vision supplements its dedicated in-house expertise as needed by drawing on the capabilities of the Vision Partners Program (VPP), a nationwide network of over 5,000 consultants.

As an integral part of this contract, Vision utilizes site-specific quality assurance programs and its approved ISO Program and Procedures to ensure complete customer satisfaction. To date, Vision has successfully closed over 1,600 individual help desk support tickets and has earned excellent customer service ratings.
